New Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Teaching Tools Available Online
The Home Safety Literacy Project provides fire and life safety educators and literacy providers with an effective, low-cost home injury-prevention alternative to text-heavy safety handouts.
HSC rolled out the first phase of the Project with highly illustrated fire safety teaching tools, which were revised following a pilot test. The second phase of the Project combines home fire safety instruction with disaster preparedness training.
