Nancy J. Trench is the Assistant Director, Fire Protection Publications at Oklahoma State University. Recognized nationally as a leader in the movement to institutionalize fire and life safety education and mitigation as a part of the core mission of the fire service, she is an expert in the design, implementation and evaluation of fire and life safety education programs. She served as an appointed member of the Board of Visitors for the National Fire Academy, an elected member of the NFPA Board of Directors, and currently serves on the NFPA Center for High Risk Outreach Presidential Advisory Committee. Nancy has a B.S. degree from Oklahoma State University in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology.
