Sharon Gamache, Executive Director

NFPA Center for High Risk Outreach

Sharon Gamache is executive director of the NFPA Center for High-Risk Outreach. She was project director for development of NFPA’s LNTB Preschool Program and Remembering When Fire and Fall Prevention Program for Older Adults and its 2005 adaptation for First Nations/Native Americans, and executive producer of the parent education video A Lighter Is Not a Toy. She also works with local leaders on strategies to implement smoke alarm installation and other programs. Previously, Sharon was National Safety Council manager of Community Safety Programs, where she directed injury prevention programs for children, older adults, and people with disabilities. She is a graduate of the University of Sioux Falls.
