Meet Rover

Hi Kids!

I’m Rover the Home Safety Hound - Home Safety Council’s official mascot and your guide to learning more about how to stay safe at home. I am here to teach you and your entire family about how to spot home dangers, when to call an adult over for help and how to stay safe at home.

My nose KNOWS safety – and together with my buddy Freddie Flashlight we are here to help you sniff out home hazards like fire dangers, tripping hazards and poisons at home. If you spot danger, always remember to yell “CODE RED ROVER, GROWN UP COME OVER.”

My motto is to have a good time while always obeying the rules of safety. You can learn more about these rules through Code Red Rover, the Great Safety Adventure. Don’t forget to visit the Kid’s Corner!

Have fun and be adventurous, but always remember to keep safety in mind.
