Kids Prepare America Winner

9-year-old Kathryn Nicole Hansen is in 4th grade at Okawville Grade School in Okawville, Illinois. While in our nation's capital, Kathryn visited with Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL) and Representative John Shimkus (R-19th IL). She met with the staff of Illinois Senator and Presidential candidate Barack Obama and toured his office. Kathryn also was recognized by Chairman Mark Pryor (D-AR) in the Senate Homeland Security Subcommittee Hearing on Community Preparedness.
